Episode 1
Mum is this the house you rented, I ask in disbelief, yes dear, my mum replied, no it can never be, the house is more worse than a zoo, even mortuary is better than this House, I said in anger, my mum could not belief what I said, she walked away from me, I could see tears particles about to fall from her eye as she walk away but who cares………….. Truth be told, the house is more spectacular than I expected, it was painted in pink throughout, I walked into the house and it was magnificent, I wonder where she got the money to rent such opulent house………… after our load has been offloaded and arrange into our new home, I walked up to my mum kneeling down, I am sorry mum, I said to her, she raise me up from my knee, it ok son she said, you are the best mum ever I pronounced, and we engage in a tight cuddle…….
Tell me where you got the money to rent such a beautiful and luxurious house, I asked her, she gave me the smile I always want to see, it not rented we own the house she replied me smiling, I found it hard to believe even to speak, I don’t understand I said when a regain my vocal cord, your father bought this land when you were 5 month old, she said, I could not belief what I was hearing, I have never seen my father before anytime I try asking, she busted into tears, which I will have to console her, I promise her never to ask of my father again which made her happy….. But now telling me he bought this house when I was 5 months old, I still don’t get…..
Your father bought this land and we both decided to build this structure on it until your father…….her phone begin to ring which made her to stop speaking cleaning her tears, I  never knew she was already crying….. But I want to know what happen.
After she finish receiving her call, I wanted her to continue from where she stopped but It was a mission impossible……
Let get going my mum said, to where, I questioned her, to your new school, she replied, I could not believe my ears, am I truly leaving wondrous secondary school, I pray this school walk in my favor……
We took a bus to the school and it was magnificently beautiful, I could not believe there is a school as beautiful as this, we walk into the school premises, do you like it, my mum asked, like kee, I love it, I replied her and she smiled………………….
A man came to welcome us, which I guess to be the principal and yeah I was right, we got to the door which have, an inscription, on the door, the principal office, the man open the door for us, and we enter
Have your seat joy, the man in his late 40’s said………. Chai, I was surprise he called my mum by her birth name, this man cannot be my father I guess but what if he is………. I am already developing atom of hatred for him, if actually he happen to be my father, I will kill him…….. Joy it been a long time, since you and your husband left the area you never decide to pay us a visit, the principal said, my joy knew no bound when it became known to me that he is not my father, am sorry, my mum said, I was expecting him to ask about my dad but he did not …………….
Desmond my boy, the principal said, how everything, hope you are studying well, your mother was the best in her time when we were in school, though she can’t out pass me in English language…….
Hey am still the overall best in the entire school, my mum said defending herself, it was then I know the principal and my mum are childhood friends. Why my mum didn’t married this man, I said in my mind……….
What did you say Desmond, my mum asked, then I knew I did not say it in my mind, I said it to my mum hearing….. Thank God the man did not hear……… nothing I replied, beta my mum said.
The registration took long than expected though it was lively as my mum and the man converse like a lost but found friend…………..
We trek home, because I insisted of walking, my reason is best known to me……… we got home around 6pm….. My mum cooked and we ate, say our prayer and sleep…………….

Episode 2
Days ran as fast as expected and it was a bright Monday morning 🌄, which the school resume for a new session....
I woke up 15 mins past 7, I could not believe myself,  I rush to my mum room and she was not there ,  I became tense what if a ghost 👻  has carried my mum,  I rushed back to my room, brush my teeth 😬, took my bath 🛁 and head to the sitting room.....  You are awake, my mum said. Good morning mum, I greeted, morning son, how was your night,  she asked,  great, I replied,  she sat me down after our morning devotion, she advise me on the do and don’ts of the school which I was familiar with.... your uniform is inside your wardrobe ,my mum said, I ran back to my room, open the wardrobe and brought the uniform out, it is extremely beautiful, I put on the well ironed butter color shirt (short sleeve), and a back trouser not excluding a red tie, I faced the mirror and I could not believe my sight, am great, I pronounced, yeah, my mum said, I was a bit shocked becos I did not know when she came in, I took my glass and head out……….
You are late Desmond, my mum said from her room, I looked at the time and I am actually late, 5 mins to 8, though assembly start 8am, but as a diligent student I ought to be in school as early as 7:30………….. I didn’t care to take breakfast cos my mum triple my feeding money which is still like a dream to me, I can depict where she got the money to furnish and own a big house like this………………
As I walk to school after rejecting the idea of taking a bus or bike, I feed my eye with the beauty of the new area, it was later know to me that I live in a Government Reserve Area, I was brought back to reality when a pink G-wagon car speed pass me splashing water on my well ironed uniform, I open my mouth to curse the driver and the owner but words didn’t come out of my mouth………. The car halted, as I move closer to it…………..
I was a bit angry and happy………. I was angry that a teacher full of aggression is in that school, I was happy becos I did not curse my teacher…………… but no…. I got to the school gate and the school name was boldly written BLESSED ASSURED COMPREHENSIVE COLLEGE…………. I peep at the G-wagon car to my greatest surprise, A young Damsel of my age came down of the car…….. so it even a student like me I murmured, to my surprise the gateman bow to her, is this the principal daughter I asked no one in particular, her father is very kind but she is the opposite…………..
She walked majestically to the assembly……………. The principal came to the podium, he read the rules and regulations but I did not listen to them, he mention a rule that makes the student rejoice but I did not hear……………
Good morning Sir, I greeted the principal as he walk up to me after the assembly, how was your night son, he asked, it was great sir, I replied, follow me, he said which I followed like a remote controlled robot……………
  This is Maharaja Desmond the principal said, after the class greeted him, he is new in our area and also in this school, I want you to make him your friend, be friendly to him, treat him like your brother, mind you he is my son, the principal said, and loud murmuring could be head from the students……… I heard the banging of the table but I don’t know who did that, am sure it not the principal but who the heck did that, he is not my biological son, the principal said, Desmond the Principal called, you will be sitting with Darlington, the principal said pointing to a girl………….. Jesus, I exclaimed under my breathe, the girl I saw in the G-wagon car will be the one am sitting with, the said girl raised her head up as she has concentrated with a book since the principal came in, I doubt if she even greeted the principal, she raised her head up and her facial expression could be explain as deadly, I hope you survive, the principal said in my ear as he left me to my fate…………….
I manage to go to my seat, Good morning I greeted her, but she never responded, I sat down beside her as I brought out my book and start reading……….. I looked at her side to know what she is so engross on, then I knew she is reading a story book titled “In love with a mermaid” by sky prince, I check the rest of the books on her desk, they are all story books, “Supreme the Beast” by ApotiEri OG, “the son of my Father” by ApotiEri OG, “The hidden treasure” by ApotiEri OG is also among the books, I was very surprise it seems she like stories written by ApotiEri OG, I have few stories with me by that same Author, I brought out the two stories I have with me written by ApotiEri OG, “Expecting the Unexpected” and “Unrestricted love”……….. I brought out the stories and she look at me, I can’t say if she is still angry or not, I can’t say if she is happy or not, she continue reading. Did she see me stealing glance at her I asked myself………… Good Morning Sir, I heard the class chorus, I quickly stood up before the teacher notice me but It was late already, you there you are not trained abi, if not that we were bound not to use negative words on any student I will have say you are mad, the angry teacher said, what he just insulted me…. He is the principal son, I heard someone saying, I trace the voice it was said by a girl I later know to be Beauty, will you keep quiet beauty, the angry teacher said, we all sat down and the teacher wrote Aptitude Test on the board, what! Test what, where am to start from, don’t plagiarize, the teacher sad and went out after writing the questions………
I could not concentrate on what I was doing, all the thought that filled my head and mind is how to survive with my non-laughing seat partner and the angry zombie teacher. Won’t you submit again, I heard the teacher yelling, I looked up and all the student busted in to laughter, I realize I was the only one left who hasn’t submitted………….. Am sorry sir, I pronounced, sorry for yourself, the teacher said and went out……………..
Hours later, bell for break was jingled, I did not know what to do, other student walked out sublimely, leaving I and Darlington in the class, I begin to tremble all of a sudden, I just don’t know why………. Minutes later I summon courage to speak to her, I haven’t said anything before she gave me the eye of if you speak you are dead, I was surprise, wait is this girl reading my mind or what, I ran out of the class………………..
